I loved this hotel, its clean and well priced. The property's location was great and fantastic right in front of the smoking area. And it was also short walk to Wright Brothers Museum and Jockey Ridge state park and Kill Devil Hills.

I adored the charming decor of the hotel, with its comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were immaculately maintained, and the layout was easily accessible for us seniors. The seating areas provided a lovely spot to relax and take in the serene ambiance. The children of the staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring that we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. It was a delight to see the lovely views of the pool from various vantage points.

I would ask for handrails or guardrails to be added in certain areas for enhanced safety and peace of mind for us seniors, ensuring we have an even more enjoyable and secure vacation experience.

Warm and great breakfast for Good value in December and amazing location. Nicely decorated and updated rooms with private bathrooms.

The hotel had a great and fantastic position, close to everything. Also, it was 10 min drive from First Flight Boulder.

The hotel's location was incredible, close to major tourist attractions like the Wright Brothers Museum and Jockey Ridge state park as well as the Tower facing the ocean. The breakfast here was good hot and great with scrambled eggs, Good value in December and also sausage patties.

The staff were absolutely amazing, especially Patti in housekeeping and the young gal at the front desk who went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. The newly renovated tower room with a beautiful view and private balcony was mind-blowing. The pools, hot tub, and gazebo were super relaxing, and the kitchen area in the room was very accommodating. The beach access and the ability to hear the waves at night were jaw-dropping. The early morning sunrise on the beach and the chance to see dolphins were truly fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable amenities, and the helpfulness of the staff made our short stay a wonderful experience.

We loved our reasonably priced and modern room in the tower. It was nice to have a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a fridge. The hotel had marvellous and fantastic location very close to Wright Brothers Museum and Jockey Ridge state park, and beach and Wright Brothers monument.

I was offered a warm breakfast for Good value in December. The hotel was very close to the beach and other amenities, major tourist attractions and Wright Brothers Museum and Jockey Ridge state park thanks to its great location.

My bed was too soft.

we had a 3rd floor room at Shutters On The Banks so it had a nice view of the beach. rooms are nice and fairly spacious. pool and hot tub were nice although somewhat small. good luck with restaurants that we could walk to: miller's, roosters, brewpub - all really nice. barefoot bernie's is a great lunch spot a few miles away. overall, we enjoyed it.

Magnificent and nice location in the Tower facing the ocean.

Quiet hotel, great base for exploring Kill Devil Hills. A wide array of goodies for breakfast. Extremely polite, friendly people working here.

Loved our rooms in the tower. The location was marvellous, so close to the ocean with easy access to stores and a drugstore.

Excellent and fantastic location at a short distance from Kill Devil Hill. Beach area not far from Wright Brothers Museum and Jockey Ridge state park and Wright Brothers monument and beach area. Central heating, multi-channel television, and a fridge in the room and the very comfy bed.

The hotel was reasonably priced with professional staff members and a lobby bar. I was offered a room with remarkable views of the beach. Bed was comfortable. The venue had exceptionally nice location very close to the Wright Brothers Museum and Jockey Ridge state park, beach and Wright Brothers monument, and shops and restaurants.

Appreciated this family-run hotel: good food and really helpful and very very helpful staff. Got well-kept, tastefully decorated room with view of the car park, the jacuzzi, fluffy towels. The location was excellent directly on the beach. Also, Wright Brothers National Memorial was within walking distance.
